First signs ..

Notice arrived today that sails are ready — having been repaired, cleaned and modified for the coming season. Added a window in the head sail for greater forward visibility – trying not to bump into things ๐Ÿ™‚  

Winter on the creek has been unusually cold, but submerged pumps kept the water moving and boats ice-free. Hoping for no bad storms for the remainder of the winter.

 A reminder of a great week long cruise that included this stop at Smith Island — crabs right off the boat! 

And, a really nasty evening storm with 30kt+ winds ๐Ÿ˜ฆ

Terrific folks at the Marina took wonderful care of us on our visit…………

Winter drags on …

  …. though this week in Annapolis saw a January thaw with temps rising into the 40s! All comes crashing down this weekend as we head into the teens. Ice likely will close off the creek. This while I read a friend’s blog who is now at anchor in Key West headed for the Bahamas – maybe next year ๐Ÿ™‚
      Meanwhile, enjoy the winter ……..
