Message to crew..Please read!
Mischief is a cruising sailboat (1989 Hunter 33.5) which is not to say she doesn’t like to go fast, but that’s not her primary purpose. So, plan to enjoy a safe and pleasant sail always subject to wind and sea state.
Instruction is also not a primary purpose, but I’m happy to share whatever knowledge/experience I’ve gained in 20 or so years of sailing on the Bay, up/down the eastern seaboard and on the AICW.
I expect crew to come prepared with appropriate safety gear. By agreeing to come aboard, crew also recognizes the inherent risks involved and accepts the associated personal liability in the event of accident and/or injury.
NOTE: I ask all crew to provide any health-related information that an EMT would need in a case where you might not be able to respond. Please provide that information, as well as a personal contact, in a sealed envelope which I will hold and return at the end of the sail. Thanks for your cooperation.
